East Hartford High School is holding its annual "Back to School Night" on Thursday, Sept. 16 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Parents and guardians are welcome to visit the school and meet their student's teachers, learn more about all the many clubs and activities at EHHS, and speak with guidance counselors, meet coaches and talk to EHHS administrators. More information about the open house will be posted to the school website.

Thursday, Sept. 23, EHHS will be hosting a new school program called "Hornet Talk" at the East Hartford Community Cultural Center. "Hornet Talk," which will be held from 5:00-6:30 pm, is a program where parents and community members can meet EHHS administrators and faculty members and discuss topics related to EHHS, its students and educational issues. The high school staff hopes parents and guardians and members of the community at large can join them. Snacks and child care will be provided.
